A Walk to End Alzheimer’s Conversation with The Buckingham

We sat down with the ┬áPartners of The Plaza at The Buckingham Team to talk about their participation in the Houston Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Every year that they have participated in the Walk, their team has been the top fundraising team for the Walk. Last year they raised over $18,000 for local Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.

The Buckingham team accomplishes this incredible fundraising by hosting many fundraisers throughout the year, including a kickoff party, an OktoberFest dinner party, and by selling notecards designed by Buckingham residents. The Buckingham is a life care Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC).  The Buckingham offers a continuum of care, from independent living to assisted living, skilled care and memory support.
