Today we sit down with Jill Ford, a longtime supporter and Blondes vs. Brunettes player (and current board member!) about what Blondes vs. Brunettes means to her.
Growing up, Alzheimer’s Disease was a big part of my life as my maternal grandmother suffered from the disease for the last 13 years of her life. ?????I saw the terrible effects of it on my family and the difficult decisions my mom and her sisters had to make to treat her mental and physical health. ?????I was so happy to find an event in my hometown that brought young people together to raise money to fight Alzheimer’s. ?????The Blondes vs Brunettes Powderpuff Football Game is such a great opportunity for young people to learn about a disease that affects us all and I’ve really enjoyed my time spent playing, volunteering and co-chairing this event.
