Blondes vs. Brunettes Profile – Jill Ford
Today we sit down with Jill Ford, a longtime supporter and Blondes vs. Brunettes player (and current board member!) about what Blondes vs. Brunettes means to her.
Growing up, Alzheimer’s Disease was a big part of my life as my maternal grandmother suffered from the disease for the last 13 years of her life. I saw the terrible effects of it on my family and the difficult decisions my mom and her sisters had to make to treat her mental and physical health. I was so happy to find an event in my hometown that brought young people together to raise money to fight Alzheimer’s. The Blondes vs Brunettes Powderpuff Football Game is such a great opportunity for young people to learn about a disease that affects us all and I’ve really enjoyed my time spent playing, volunteering and co-chairing this event.
