Need some assistance registering for our Walk to End Alzheimer’s? We’ve made a how-to guide to help (if you need to view a larger image, click the photo to follow to a new link. Click the photo again to enlarge). Just follow the steps below…
1.) Visit http://alz.org/walk and enter your ZIP Code above the map.
2.) Select the walk in which you want to participate!
3.) Choose if you want to register as a team or individual.
4.) *Please skip to Step 5 if you are registering as an individual* Choose a Team Name and comphttp://blog.alztex.org/?attachment_id=1954any affiliation (if applicable). We recommend a participant goal of 10 members per team, but you are welcome to have as many members as you would like.
5.) Choose if you would like to be a Registered Walker or a Virtual Walker (fundraising only). We recommend a fundraising goal of $225. You may change this now, or later through your participant center, if you have a different goal. You may also donate to yourself to get started!
6.) Have you walked with us before? If not, you will need to fill out a New User registration. Returning Users will have their log-in information sent to their email.
7.) New Users, pleas fill in the appropriate biographical information on the Registration Form.
8.) All walkers must sign a Waiver Form.
9.) Review your information to make sure it is all correct and complete your registration!
10.) A registration confirmation will be sent to your email. All that’s left is to visit your Participant Center.
11.) You are all set to start fundraising! The Participant Center shows your progress, allows you to send emails to family and friends, and gives tips on what to do next. Take some time to explore the options today.
