Looking Together – Early Stage Program at Museum of Fine Arts Houston

Individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, along with a family member, care partner or friend, are invited to discover and discuss the exquisite artwork displayed by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston at Looking Together.

Join us on the second Monday of each month from 11:00 am – Noon, for this 60 minute program at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston – Beck Building, located at 5601 Main Street, Houston, Texas 77005

A trained docent will lead explorations of the museum’s permanent collections and temporary exhibitions, encouraging visitors and their care partners to discover and discuss works of art together. The group will focus on a different theme during each visit to the museum, and chairs will be set up for participants to view and discuss each work. This program takes place on a day that the museum is closed to the general public, so guests have a peaceful environment as they explore the museum during this interactive and unique experience.

Headset devices will be available for your use if you desire additional hearing assistance.

The Looking Together Program is FREE, but space is limited and reservations are requested.
For more information or to register, contact the museum directly via email, tours@mfah.org, or phone at 713.639.7323.
