March 8, 2017: Alzheimer’s Association’s Texas Advocacy Day

You’re Invited to Attend the Alzheimer’s Association Advocacy Day at the Capitol!

Please join us on this exciting day as we gather at the capitol, DRESSED IN PURPLE, to show our elected officials how many residents of Texas are impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to learn about the Alzheimer’s Association’s Texas policy priorities, hear from our lobbyists, to develop new advocacy skills, and to network with fellow volunteers and families from other Texas chapters. The morning session will take place at the Austin History Center in the Austin Public Library-Downtown. Afternoon legislative visits will occur in the State Capitol.

We encourage you to register early for planning purposes. If you have questions, please contact jharris@alz.org or your area Alzheimer’s Association Chapter.

Thank you for your important presence. We look forward to seeing you at the capitol!
