National Family Caregivers Month

As an organization founded by caregivers, the Alzheimer’s Association honors caregivers and hopes to support their efforts in any way we can.

The Houston & Southeast Texas Chapter hosts and sponsors a wide variety of programs & support groups to assist and educate those living with Alzheimer’s disease and their care partners. More than 15 million Americans have assumed the role of a caregiver for a family member or loved one with Alzheimer’s disease. You are not alone. If you need information about early-stage caregiving, middle-stage caregiving, or late-stage caregiving, we are here to help. Please call us any time day or night at 713.314.1313.

To highlight National Family Caregivers Month, the Alzheimer’s Association has launched an interactive web page celebrating caregivers at alz.org/honor. The page will feature stories from caregivers, and visitors to the page can leave personal messages to show their support & honor caregivers.

To all the caregivers out there, thank you for all you do!
