The Houston Marathon Committee has announced that the 45th annual Chevron Houston Marathon and the 16th Aramco Houston Half Marathon have both sold out for the 12th consecutive year. The largest single-day sporting event in Houston will be conducted on Sunday, January 15, 2017, of race weekend and feature over 250,000 runners, volunteers and spectators.
While the participant cap for both races has been reached at 27,000 (13,500 for both the half marathon and marathon) registrants, runners still have the opportunity to enter both races through the Chevron Houston Marathon Run for a Reason charity program.
Charity entries are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis and allow runners to fundraise for one of the 62 Official Run for a Reason charities.
